Macabre Mel: Wicked Salvation – Join Mel on Her Trip to Hell to Take on the Fallen Angel Lucifer
A new Kickstarter project, Macabre Mel: Wicked Salvation, goes live on October 2nd, 2022. This new graphic novel takes place in the Lunchroom Riot Riotverse between SH*TSHOW #2 and SH*TSHOW #3. This novella follows Macabre Mel on her trip to Hell to take on the Devil in order to rescue her soul and become human again. We’ve seen Mel take on various enemies like serial killers and sorcerers but can she defeat the fallen angel Lucifer?
This story was written by Adam Barnhardt, with art by Rolands Kalnińš and lettering by Marco Ventura. Cover A was beautifully drawn by the inside artist Kalnińš. The project also includes three variant covers to collect: Cover B by Mattia Monaco, Covers C, and D by Juan Angel.
The official description for Wicked Salvation reads:
“Macabre Mel has seen it all. During her days fighting crime alongside Richard “Legend” McCoy and Legend’s Legion, she’s helped stop them all, from bank robbers to serial killers, rogue sorcerers, and a mad alien or two. Then came Balam, the demon that single-handedly caused the Age of Heroes to come to a close. Oh, and he killed Mel too—did we mention that Macabre Mel: Wicked Salvation follows Mel on her trip to Hell as she comes toe-to-toe with the Devil in hopes she’ll be able to lay claim to her soul and return to Earth. Sounds easy enough, right?”
Macabre Mel: Wicked Salvation coming exclusively to Kickstarter on October 2nd, 2022. The project has a plethora of rewards to choose from with various Covers and Merchandise.
