Living Dead Girl Announces New Single “Ugly”

Living Dead Girl, the Orlando-based female-fronted metal band, has taken the alternative metal scene by storm with their explosive debut album Exorcism in 2021. Crafted by the talented vocalist and songwriter Molly Rennick, produced by the critically acclaimed Mitchell Marlow (known for works with In This Moment, Papa Roach, All That Remains), and mastered by Howie Weinberg (renowned for his work with U2, Nirvana, Metallica), Exorcism features 11 phenomenal tracks, including the hit single Alive.

The track soared to the top of the Billboard charts, holding the #1 position for two weeks as the most added song on the Mainstream Rock Indicator, and secured the #17 spot on the Mainstream Rock Indicator Chart.

Alive also made its mark by reaching #3 on the Top 10 Greatest Gainers Secondary Market Rock Chart, #10 on SiriusXM Canada’s Indigenous Music Countdown, and #5 on the Top 50 Secondary Market Rock chart.

Living Dead Girl’s unique blend of goth, rock, nu metal, pop, and punk has defined a new genre that has them on track to be the future of rock music.

The band continues to make waves with the announcement of their latest single, Ugly. Following a successful 2023, which saw the release of the cover Not That Innocent and the Deluxe Edition of Exorcism, as well as a tour with Raven Black and a featured artist slot at the 2023 Canadian Music Week, Living Dead Girl shows no signs of slowing down this year.

Molly Rennick’s message behind Ugly reflects a shared experience among women, conveying a sense of frustration and the desire to be acknowledged based on substance rather than appearance – a powerful anthem for those who have felt marginalized.

As the band looks ahead to 2024, Living Dead Girl is gearing up for the release of their new single and an exciting Summer 2024 tour.
