Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game Set To Invade Your Consoles and PC In New Game Adaptation
Gamescom‘s showcase has brought many reveals and announcements but one that some did not see coming was the video game adaptation of the cult hit sci-fi comedy horror film Killer Klowns From Outer Space. The 80s film dropped a reveal trailer showing players just what kind of out-of-this-world experience awaits them.
The trailer kicked off with a cinematic scene showing a teenager listening to loud music while jamming out on the air guitar as chaos ensues outside their bedroom window. It doesn’t take long to see the entire neighborhood is in a frenzy and someone getting vaporized when an explosion catches their attention. They next hear someone at the door and once opened, they see the iconic characters of the film holding a stack of pizza boxes.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game will take players on a unique multiplayer horror experience with the help of the executive director of Friday the 13th: The Game. The gameplay clips shown reveal the Killer Klowns using lasers to take out humans in a carnival setting as teenagers prepare to retalliate.
The game will feature 3v7 multiplayer that puts three Killer Klowns against seven humans. The Klowns objective will be to capture some or all humans while human players attempt to de-activate the Klown’s spaceship, escape the map, or save the townsfolk.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC in early 2023. A beta will be available in the future with signups available on the official games website.
