Joel Rodriguez Guides Us Through the Dusk County Chronicles
Joel Rodriguez is the President and CEO of Metal Ninja Studios, and the writer and creator of the series The Dusk County Chronicles and its sequel series The Dusk County Chronicles: Nightfall, which is on Kickstarter right now!

I got the chance to sit down with Joel and talk about where he would teleport if he could teleport anywhere, what led him to start up his own company Metal Ninja Studios, how he got his start as a writer, where his ideas come from, and tons more! We also chat about how he felt about his time being an accountant, what the Metal Ninja Dojo is and all the cool opportunities it’s going to provide, and what we can see from him in the future including his upcoming projects and projects from the Studio, and any advice he may have for up and coming creatives!

Check out Joel’s newest Kickstarter project for Dusk County Chronicles: Nightfall The Final Nightmare books 1-3, which is a full story arc in his anthology universe! If you are unfamiliar with the story, here’s a bit of the premise to help get you up to speed:
The Dusk County Chronicles (DCC) started as a horror anthology series exploring the twisted towns within rural Dusk County and the tortured lives of its citizens. Each of the first two issues contained short stories of varying art styles that followed a different character as they fell victim to the secrets within and the monsters without. DCC: Nightfall follows two survivors from the original short stories as they brave the secrets of Dusk County in search of their missing loved ones.

Previously, through their investigation, Lori and Susan found themselves trapped below ground and at the mercy of Draven, the Vampiric leader of Dusk County’s nightmares. Outnumbered, disarmed, and seemingly betrayed, all hope seemed lost until an unlikely ally provided an opportunity for escape.
On the run, with a life on the line, the women raced to find help within a forest seemingly set on their destruction. Deadly encounter after encounter led them to find security within a closed toy store. The mysterious owner was quick to provide a safe place to hide.

But how much can you truly trust a toy store in Dusk County??
It will be on KS for the rest of September and into the first part of October, so click the link, and make sure you help spread the word!
