John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan Series Ending With Season 4 on Prime Video
Prime Video‘s hit Tom Clancy series Jack Ryan is set to end after season 4 on the streamer. Deadline reports that the John Krasinski-led series will be saying goodbye after its fourth season but the Clancy universe may live on as Amazon eyes a potential spinoff series for the recently cast Michael Peña to star in.
The reports state that the spinoff is still in very early stages as no plan or script is in place. Season 3 of Jack Ryan has yet to set a release date but Peña was cast in an unknown role recently that could lead to the Clancy universe providing fans with more action-packed episodes in the future. Alongside Peña, it was also announced that Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly would be reprising their roles as James Greer and Mike November in Jack Ryan Season 3
Some reports have speculated that Peña could play Rainbow Six executive officer Domingo “Ding” Chavez who has appeared in many Jack Ryan novels including The Sum of All Fears, Clear and Present Danger, Executive Orders, Debt of Honor, Command Authority, Full Force and Effect, and Commander-in-Chief. No official word on his role has been confirmed.
The series is executive produced by Krasinski, Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller, and Michael Bay, and is a co-production of Amazon, Paramount Television, and Skydance Television.
With Krasinski’s 4 series deal coming to an end, it could just be Krasinski wishing to move on to other projects, but no official word on the series end was given. Stay tuned as more information on the upcoming season of Jack Ryan becomes available.
