New INDIANA JONES 5 set footage reveals villains and new photo suggests Indy will be de-aged.
Some new Indiana Jones 5 set footage has surfaced showing Indy facing off against Nazis once again. The video, which was shared on YouTube, shows a train headed through the English countryside on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. That train is emblazoned with Nazi symbols, and armed with a gun turret. You can check out that video below.
With the supposed plot being set during the space race, it’s interesting that Nazis might be involved somehow in the 60’s, but one thing you can expect from an Indiana Jones film is that anything is possible when Indy is on an adventure.
A photo had also surfaced showing Harrison Ford with motion capture markers on his face and body. This could be a sign that they are de-aging Ford for the film. With Indy facing off against Nazis and the mo-cap gear could possibly point to a flashback, but that’s all speculation and we will have to wait and see.
The movie has also filmed scenes at the “haunted” Bamburgh Castle, which has fans speculating that this movie will include a scrapped Last Crusade storyline that saw Indiana Jones battling a ghost while on vacation. You can read more about that here.
The film comes from producer Steven Spielberg and director James Mangold and it stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones one final time, Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Shaunette Renée Wilson (The Resident), and Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age Of Ultron).
Indiana Jones 5 is set to be released on July 29, 2022.
