Halloween Ends Trailer Showcases A Killer Finale For the Michael Myers Saga
Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have released a trailer for the epic finale in the Laurie Strode and Michael Myers saga that is set to end with Halloween Ends. The bloody entry in the previous film Halloween Kills set the stage for the end of this rivalry years in the making. In what seemed to be a rampage filled with Michael Myers decimating just about every character in the film, the trailer released today now takes us back to 1978 with a trailer reminiscent of the film that started it all.
Halloween Ends’ description reads:
“After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive…
Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.”
This time around, we see Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) waiting for Michael and Laurie is out for revenge with the trailer highlighting what looks to be another round between the two iconic characters that will bring an end to the new trilogy of films. The trailer is merely a tease of what is to come but this is nothing short of pure hype for the bloody end that is coming in just a few months. The trailer also features a couple of other survivors with Allison (Andi Matichak) and Officer Hawkins (Will Patton) making an appearance.
David Gordon Green returns to helm the third and final trilogy film from a script written by Green, Paul Brad Logan, Danny McBride, and Chris Bernier based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Starring alongside Curtis, Matichak, and Patton will be Kyle Richards, Nick Castle, and James Jude Courtney. The film was produced by Jason Blum, Malek Akkad, and Bill Block with Carpenter, Curtis, McBride, Green, Ryan Freimann, Ryan Turek, Andrew Golov, Thorn Zadra, and Christopher H. Warner executive producing.

Halloween Ends will arrive in theaters on October 14th, 2022. Check out the teaser trailer below:
