Gotham Knights Batgirl Trailer Gives Barbara Gordon Center Stage

Warner Bros. Games unveiled a new Gotham Knights Batgirl trailer that showcased some of the upcoming tools for another character that will be featured in the upcoming game. We have seen looks at Nightwing and Robin already and this time, we see Barbara Gordon’s Batgirl take center stage with her acrobatic maneuvers at work to take down enemies in the new footage.

Warner Bros. Games’ description of Gotham Knights reads:

“A brand-new open world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death.

An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops and fear to its
criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.”

The Batman-less Gotham City is in good hands as Batgirl uses all her skills and tools to her advantage to make short work of the enemies plaguing the city in Batman’s absence. With Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood by her side, players will have their pick of fighting style and friends they want to join in on the fight.

Batgirl’s new trailer shows different skins that will most likely be unlockable content that will be crafted using materials and blueprints found in the city. The game is in the vein of the Batman Arkham series of games with an open-world environment and similar beat-em-up gameplay.

Gotham Knights will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
