Fortnitemares Returns with Michael Myers, Jack Skellington, and Alan Wake
Epic Games has announced the new update for Fortnite as the yearly Halloween event Fortnitemares returns. The yearly update brings a spooky twist to the game, just in time for Halloween. One of the standout features of the update is the addition of a new outfit based on Alan Wake. This outfit is part of the Waking Nightmare set and will be available in the Item Shop during the Fortnitemares 2023 event. Fans of Remedy‘s Alan Wake series will be thrilled to see this crossover as we quickly approach the highly-anticipated Alan Wake 2.
Disney’s Jack Skellington, the lovable Pumpkin King from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, will also be getting his own outfit in Fortnite. This outfit comes with a Santa Jack alternate style, as well as the Zero Back Bling, Peppermint Parasol Pickaxe, and Jack’s Sled Glider. To add even more fun to the mix, there will be two new emotes featuring Jack Skellington. The first is Jack’s Scary Face Emote, which is built into the outfit itself. The second is the Lock, Shock, and Barrel’s Tub Emote, which can be used with any outfit.
But perhaps the most exciting addition to the Item Shop is the arrival of Michael Myers, the terrifying iconic character from the Halloween franchise. Just in time for the spookiest night of the year, players will be able to don the Michael Myers outfit and strike fear into the hearts of other players on Battle Royale island.
The Fortnitemares 2023 event will run until November 3, so make sure to grab these limited-time items before they disappear. To get a glimpse of what’s in store, be sure to check out the trailer below:
