Extraction 2 Teaser Trailer Shows Off an Action-Packed Sequel Starring Chris Hemsworth
Netflix has released the Extraction 2 teaser trailer and it shows off Chris Hemsworth‘s Tyler Rake return from the dead. The black ops mercenary is headed into another deadly mission as he works to rescue a family from a Georgian gangster after barely surviving the events of the first film.
Netflix‘s synopsis of Extraction 2 reads:
” After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held”
The film will see Hemsworth star alongside Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Olga Kyrylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tnatin Dalakishvili. The film is helmed by Sam Hargrave from a story by Ande Parks, Joe & Anthony Russo which is adapted by the graphic novel Ciudad by Parks. The film is produced by the Russos, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Hemsworth, Patrick Newall, and Sam Hargrave.
Extraction 2 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 16, 2023.
