Edge of Spider-Verse: The Spider-Verse is Expanding in New Series Announced by Marvel

Marvel Comics has announced a new mini-series coming this August, Edge of Spider-Verse. The new five-issue mini-series will introduce more heroes from the Spider-Verse as well as bring back fan-favorite heroes including Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man, and Araña. Each issue will include three stories that will introduce new characters and set the series up for its epic conclusion in The End of the Spider-Verse.

The series will be written by Dan Slott who will be joined by an all-star lineup of creators that includes Alex Segura, Karla Pacheco, Mark Bagley, and more as they work together to expand the epic Spider-Verse as it reaches its conclusion later this year. The mini-series will have covers by superstar artists Josemaria Casanovas, Kris Anka, and more to come.

Speaking with Polygon, Slott said:

“Marvel has decided to do the unthinkable, go big, and bring the saga of the comic book Spider-Verse to a fiery conclusion. Yes, that’s right. Later this year we shall all bear witness to THE END OF THE SPIDER-VERSE!”

It all starts with Edge of Spider-Verse #1 when it arrives at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on August 3rd, 2022, stay tuned to witness The End of the Spider-Verse later this year. Check out the designs for three new heroes joining the Spider-Verse below:
