DOOM ETERNAL Horde Mode Teased By Bethesda In Their Biggest Free Update – Releases next week
A teaser trailer has been released for Bethesda and iD Software‘s upcoming Horde Mode that is set to drop for Doom Eternal. The new mode is set to drop next week on October 26th in what is described as their biggest free update to date.
Bethesda shared the following description along with the teaser trailer: “Doom Eternal’s Update 6.66 arrives 10/26, Our biggest free update yet will include the all-new arcade-style Horde Mode, Battlemode 2.0 with a new arena and streak-based rewards, two new Master Levels, and more.”
The trailer is very brief and not much is shared other than a glimpse of Doom Guy coming in through a portal and the guaranteed chaos that is set to follow in the new mode. We do see a brief glimpse of a “pickup,” and that activates a score multiplies. This should be an absolutely insane new mode that Doom fans can enjoy.
Get ready for the gore, mayhem, and kick-ass soundtrack as you run and gun your way through endless waves of enemies. The free update (6.66) will go live on October 26th just in time for everyone to get into that Halloween spirit.
Doom Eternal is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia, and PC.
