Denzel Washington Preparing for THE EQUALIZER 3 With Antoine Fuqua Expected to Return

Denzel Washington is preparing for The Equalizer 3 to be his next film and with that, director Antoine Fuqua is also expected to return for the third entry in the film franchise. Much like what John Wick has been for Keanu Reeves, The Equalizer falls in the same subgenre for Washington in which we see these stars light up the screen and kick some serious ass.

In an interview with Collider, Washington shared:

“They have written the third Equalizer, so I’m scheduled to do that, so I gotta get in shape and start beating people up again. I get to beat people up again. The Tragedy of Macbeth and then going and beating some people up. Can’t get any better, right?

Although Fuqua is expected to return and all fans of the films hope he will be back to direct the third entry, sources say they are still in talks for him to return. There’s no release date for The Equalizer 3 just yet, but I am sure as things heat up for the film, we will all be getting more information coming down the wire.
