Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red Collab on Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown
Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red have joined forces once again to expand the Cyberpunk 2077 universe with a four-part miniseries, Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown.
The new series, set to debut on July 3, 2024, is penned by Tomasz Marchewka, principal writer of the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty, and features art by Jake Elphick, colorist Jason Wordie, and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. The series will include cover art by Elphick, along with variants from RUDCEF, André Lima Araújo, and concept artist DOFRESH.


Bartosz Sztybor, Comic Book & Animation Narrative Creator for CD Projekt Red, has expressed particular excitement for fans to explore the newly designed cars brought to life within the pages of Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown.
These unique vehicles, not featured in the original game, promise to provide an even deeper dive into the immersive world of Cyberpunk 2077.
The miniseries promises a high-octane narrative, following the daughter of a renowned carjacker who embarks on a mission to confront the ghosts of her past. As the streets of Night City become the backdrop for intense street racing action, a cast of new characters from the Cyberpunk 2077 universe are set to come to life, offering readers a glimpse into the underbelly of this dystopian world.
