CRYSIS 4 Announced by Crytek With New Teaser Trailer

The fantastic FPS trilogy is getting another entry as Crytek has announced Crysis 4 with a new teaser trailer for the game that is still in early development. The game notorious for pushing graphic cards to their limits with gorgeous visuals is coming back to melt PC’s around the world once more.

The teaser was short and didn’t reveal much, and short of a few scenes and a giant “4” followed by “join the journey, become a hero” there isn’t much more to see from the teaser other than the excitement of the official announcement, but with the title being in early development, it’s doubtful there is much to showcase at this point in development.

In a reply tweet to their teaser, Crytek says “we’re excited to announce we’re working on the 4th installment in the Crysis series” and that it wants “you to join us on our journey and become the hero you were destined to be.” That tweet shares a link to a blog post with more information about the upcoming sequel. 

“It’s something you have been asking us for a long time, so it’s now finally time to confirm – yes, a new Crysis game is happening,” the blog post reads. “We are so pleased and excited to bring this news to you, and we really can’t wait to reveal more details about what lies ahead. Right now, the game is in the early stages of development so it will be a while yet, but we wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community.” 

Crytek stated they will be updating fans as development progresses along with more details on Crysis 4 when possible. While you wait, Crytek wants fans to know “that our dedicated and talented team is working hard to bring you a truly next-gen shooter.” Check out the teaser below:
