Creepshow Holiday Special 2023 #1 First Look Ensures It Will Deliver Scares This Holiday Season

Skybound has unveiled an exciting glimpse into the pages of Creepshow Holiday Special 2023 #1, the highly anticipated one-shot based on Greg Nicotero‘s popular Shudder TV series and beloved comic book anthology. Set to add a dose of horror to your holiday season, this special edition is bound to leave you with chills!

Prepare to encounter “The Christmas Man,” an eerie and bone-chilling figure that will redefine holiday horrors. Crafted by Daniel Kraus, known for his work on “The Shape of Water” and Shudder‘s Creepshow series, and illustrated by the talented Jonathan Wayshak (whose previous works include “Skin Crawl” and “Ferryman“), this story promises to be a haunting addition to your festive reading list.

Furthermore, James Asmus, the mastermind behind “Survival Street” and the popular animated series “Rick & Morty,” joins forces with the lively artwork of Letizia Cadonici from “House of Slaughter” to deliver a cautionary tale entitled “Package Thief.” This suspenseful story warns of the consequences of stealing the wrong parcel, adding an extra layer of thrill to the holiday special.

Not only does Creepshow Holiday Special 2023 #1 boast a captivating main cover by Guillem March, but it also features an impressive lineup of variant covers. Among them is a cover art collaboration between Jonathan Wayshak and Adriano Lucas, as well as a 1:10 incentive cover created by Jorge Corona and Jean-Francois Beaulieu. Brian Witten is overseeing the series on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.

The unnerving holiday special will arrive at your favorite comic book shop on December 6, 2023, just in time to add some fright to your festive celebrations. Check out the first look below:
