Christmas With the Campbells Trailer Reveals A Festive Romantic Nightmare

RLJE Films has released a trailer for the upcoming holiday film titled Christmas With the Campbells. The raunchy comedy brings together Justin Long and Brittany Snow for an adult Christmas film helmed by Clare Niederpruem.

The film follows Jess who is dumped by her boyfriend right before Christmas. Things get strange when her ex-boyfriend’s family asked Jess to still celebrate the holidays with them and Jess crosses paths with her ex-boyfriend’s cousin. A wrench is thrown into the whole situation when her ex-boyfriend is in the picture again which makes things much more complicated. Nothing too out of the ordinary from your classic holiday film premise but this is part of the magic of the holidays and a formula that has kept us entertained for years. This one is sure to go on the list!

The film’s official synopsis reads:

“The traditional holiday romance movie gets a little more fun this year with a spin from co-writers Vince Vaughn and Dan Lagana. In Christmas With The Campbells, when Jesse gets dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn’s handsome cousin, while Shawn is away.”

Starring alongside Long and Snow will be Julia Duffy, George Wendt, Alex Moffatt, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher. The film is co-written by comedy legend Vince Vaughn alongside Dan Lagana, and Barbara Kymlicka. Vaugh and Lagana also produced the film alongside Peter Billingsley.

Christmas With the Campbells is set to arrive exclusively on AMC+ on December 2, 2023.
