Capcom held a Dragon’s Dogma 10th-anniversay celebration and during the celebration event, they announced that a decade after the release of its predecessor, Dragon’s Dogma 2is officially in development and will release in 2023.
The video presentation commemorated the decade since the release of Dragon’s Dogma on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Game director Hideaki Itsuno and team members of the dev team, Daig Ikeno, and Kenichi Suzuki announced the game towards the end of the presentation by unveiling the Dragon’s Dogma II and a short animation showing off the official log of what is now one of the most-anticipated sequels next year.
Dragon’s Dogma II does not have an official release date and no footage of the game was released but the acknowledgment of its development should be more than enough to get fans excited for what’s to come next year as more information is released. Check out the video below:
