Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Officially Confirmed

Activision Blizzard has officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be the next title in the first-person-shooter franchise. The developer revealed the upcoming entry on Twitter with the official title and the logo for the sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare reboot.

The social media post reads:

“The new era of Call of Duty is coming. #ModernWarfare2“

The video or announcement doesn’t give much detail as to what players can expect but any fan of Modern Warfare should have an indication of what is to come in the highly-anticipated sequel. With the social media post’s caption, it could also be the studio indicating their plans to usher in a new era of the franchise through the sequel.
