BLOOD HUNT: Vampire Marvel Event Announced at NYCC
Marvel fans, get ready for the next big crossover event announced at the New York Comic Con, Marvel’s Next Big Thing Panel revealed the upcoming major crossover BLOOD HUNT. In Spring 2024, the Marvel Universe will be plunged into darkness as vampires take center stage like never before. This epic event series will be written by the talented Jed MacKay, known for his work on Avengers, and brought to life by acclaimed X-Men artists Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia.

BLOOD HUNT will also be expanding beyond the main event series, infiltrating Marvel‘s hottest current series with tie-in issues. Additionally, new limited series, one-shots, and changes to the status quo will be launched, giving fans a wider narrative to sink their teeth into.
Cursed with insurmountable stakes, our beloved heroes will find themselves in a fierce battle against the vampire race. As the world is dragged into darkness, iconic characters like the Avengers, Moon Knight’s Midnight Mission, Doctor Strange, Miles Morales, and Blade will face off against an onslaught of bloodsucking terrors. Brace yourself for the unexpected as alliances are formed, destinies are tested, and the Marvel Universe undergoes a thrilling transformation.
While more story details and information have yet to be revealed, a special BLOOD HUNT trailer and a promotional image by Leinil Francis Yu and Sunny Gho have been released, giving fans a taste of the hunt that awaits them.
Jed MacKay teased:
“We have vampires in our books all the time, there’s some bad blood there. What happens if the shoe was on the other foot? We’ve got the Avengers, Moon Knight’s Midnight Mission, Doctor Strange, Miles Morales, and of course, Blade, and there’s going to be more vampires you can shake a stick at.”

Marvel promises a feast of BLOOD HUNT announcements in the coming months. Blood Hunt will invade your local comic shop in the Spring of 2024.
