Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe Trailer Reunites Our Favorite Animated Slackers
Paramount+ has released a trailer for the upcoming animated film Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe. The brand-new film reunites our favorite animated slackers as they make their way to the streaming service with an adventure that can’t be contained to Earth as they venture through time and space.
The film’s description reads:
“In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, leading to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.”
Beavis and Butt-Head are set to serve as a sequel to the 1996 film, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and comes from series creator Mike Judge who will also voice both Beavis and Butt-Head once again. Starring alongside Judge will be Gary Cole, Chris Diamantopoulos, Nat Faxon, Brian Huskey, Chi McBride, Tig Notaro, Stephen Root, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, and Jimmy O. Yang.
Judge will also produce the film alongside Lew Morton, Michael Rotenberg, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina, and Antonio Canobbio.
Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe will stream exclusively on Paramount+ on June 23rd, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
