We had the pleasure of speaking with cosplayer, artist, and now friend Athena the Fairy! We met Athena during our coverage of this year’s Game On Expo, and we followed up with her on our experience of the growing convention that continues to become bigger and better.
Athena comes from a family fueled by the creativity of art. As an artist herself, she has a unique lens that allows her to connect with the world and find inspiration in both her art and cosplaying. Through her artwork, she not only expresses her own creativity but also hopes to inspire others to explore their own artistic passions. With each new project, Athena continues to grow her craft, constantly learning new techniques that result in even more impressive cosplays.
The Game On Expo is a rising pop culture convention that has been celebrating gaming since 2015. Over the years, it has grown to become one of the largest conventions in Arizona. Game On Expo is already one of the largest conventions in Arizona and continues to grow in both size and popularity and will see itself level up into a new location as it shifts its celebration to March beginning in 2024.
