A Legacy of Violence: An Honest Doctor with a Hidden Past
Mad Cave Studios announced a new 12-issue horror/mystery series by horror geniuses Cullen Bunn and Andrea Mutti; with letters by Rus Wooton. This graphic story follows a good-hearted doctor, Nick Shaw. While Nick seems to be an honest doctor who just wants to do his part in healing people, he seems to be struggling with something internally.
Mad Cave‘s description of A Legacy of Violence reads:
“A Legacy of Violence follows Dr. Nick Shaw; an honest doctor just trying to help people. But one day, when a patient gets out of control, Nick suddenly begins recalling past memories he had kept hidden away.
That’s when he decides to join Doctors Without Borders and heads straight for Central America. But his past still comes calling. With a serial killer on the loose in the small town of Disante, Honduras, Nick’s flashbacks begin to intensify-and become clearer. Was Nick meant to go to Honduras? Is this all part of the killer’s plan? Find out what Nick has been repressing all these years and why.”
Mad Cave celebrated the series and the month of horror by featuring variants and exclusive covers for the premiere issue this weekend at New York Comic-Con.
A Legacy of Violence #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop on October 12th, 2022.
