65 Trailer Reveals Adam Driver Crash Landing Into a Prehistoric Hell
Sony Pictureshas revealed the first trailer for 65. The sci-fi film starring Adam Driver and Ariana Greenblatt sees the pair crash land on a planet. The film seems to adopt the feel of a thriller as well as a horror film as we see the pair trying to survive on this planet in hopes of a rescue making their way to them. We see signs of life as there are scenes where Driver can be seen with the suspicion of a predator lurking. The trailer closes with an undeniable prehistoric threat and what should be heart-pounding suspense and action. Also starring alongside Driver and Greenblatt will be Chloe Coleman.
Adam Driver and Ariana Greenblatt stars in 65.
Sony Pictures’ synopsis reads:
“After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth… 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.”
The film was penned by the duo behind The Quiet Place with Scott Beck and Bryan Woods writing the script. The film will be directed by Beck and Woods as well who also produced the film alongside Sam Raimi, Deborah Liebling, and Zainab Azizi.
Fans have already jumped out of their seats with the likeness of Driver in the film to his rugged look in the Star Wars films where he played the role of Kylo Ren. Funny enough, Driver finds himself in space once again but finds himself at odds with much more than the force this time around. This is a step back into the genre after appearing in films such as House of Gucci and The Last Duel.
Driver has managed to bring remarkable performances to his roles regardless of genre, a film with his lead and the intrigue of seeing him face off against dinosaurs is enough to give this film plenty of upsides.
