Supermassive Games Reveals 30 Minutes of Gameplay from The Quarry
Supermassive Games has revealed 30-minutes of gameplay for their upcoming Until Dawn spiritual successor The Quarry. The game is set up to be a narrative-driven slasher at a summer camp and will follow the same formula that Until Dawn and the Dark Anthology Pictures entries have followed with narrative and quick action choices impacting how the game plays out. With The Quarry‘s cast of young actors that will lend their voice and likeness such as the previous entries in Supermassive‘s titles, you are bound to recognize quite a few characters.
The new title will follow nine teenage camp counselors left overnight at Hackett Quarry with no adult supervision and no responsibility as the children have also gone. Things begin to go wrong as death lands on their doorstep and “something far more sinister” begins to hunt them. The press release states that it will be in the player’s hand to interact with characters that include the voice and likeness of David Arquette, Lin Shaye, Ted Raimi, Ariel Winter, Justice Smith, and Brenda Song, plus others.
Take a sneak peek at the action with 30-minutes of gameplay from The Quarry which was released by IGN. The Quarry will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on June 10th, 2022.
