X-Men #26 & Invincible Iron Man #10 Will Showcase Stark and Frost Tying the Knot This September
Marvel Comics‘ upcoming X-Men #26 and Invincible Iron Man #10 will showcase the highly-anticipated and equally unexpected wedding between Emma Frost and Tony Stark. Written by Gerry Duggan, the ongoing X-Men, and Invincible Iron Man series will bring together these two iconic characters for a moment that fans never thought would happen. Series artists Stefano Caselli and Juan Frigeri will lend their artistic talents to bring this monumental event to readers.
The wedding marks a significant development within the larger context of Fall of X. With Krakoa falling and the X-Men facing unprecedented challenges, alliances will need to be formed. As Emma Frost and Tony Stark’s Hellfire Club partnership grows stronger, so do their romantic feelings.X-Men #26 will showcase Tony’s surprising proposal leading to Emma’s “Yes!” Meanwhile, Invincible Iron Man#10 will welcome readers to Stark and Frost’s wedding.
Gerry Duggan shared his excitement about this storyline with IGN, saying:
“Neither seems like the marrying type. Why this works, and how this works, and how much fun this is whether their marriage works or not will need to be seen to be believed and you’ll have to buy it to find out! They certainly don’t seem like they’re ready to be married to anyone, let alone to each other, but life can change quickly.”
To commemorate this special occasion, artist Meghan Hetrick has crafted two stunning variant covers for Invincible Iron Man #10. These covers pay homage to another iconic wedding of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21. The covers will feature the heroes in both their superhero attire and their formal attire.
RSVP for the iconic wedding by picking up a copy of the two issues and the Hetrick variant covers when X-Men #26 and Invincible Iron Man #27 arrive at your local comic shop and digitally on September 6, 2023, and September 27, 2023.
