Walker: Independence Trailer Features Katherine McNamara’s Abigail Walker Pursuit of Justice
The CW has released a trailer for Walker: Independence after having given the series a full series order. The series is a prequel to another hit series at the network in the rebooted Walker that stars Jared Padelecki. Independence will bring back another familiar face from The CW with Katherine McNamara taking the lead role as Abigail Walker. She previously starred in The CW‘s Arrow as Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) daughter, Mia.
The CW‘s description for Walker: Independence reads:
“Set in the late 1800s, this origin story follows Abby Walker, an affluent Bostonian whose husband is murdered before her eyes while on their journey out West, as she crosses paths with Hoyt Rawlins, a lovable rogue in search of purpose. Abby and Hoyt’s journey takes them to Independence, Texas, a small town with a big future.”
Starring alongside McNamara will be Matt Barr, Justin Johnson Cortez, Katie Findlay, Greg Hovanessian, Lawrence Kao, and Philemon Chambers.
Walker: Independence will air back-to-back with the third season of Walker this fall. Check out the trailer below:
