Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell – Popular Indie Game Getting its First Major Expansion

Poncle has announced that their popular indie game will be getting its first major expansion titled Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell. The new DLC will include a brand-new stage as well as new characters and weapons for players to jump back into the vampire-slaying action that has earned the indie title rave reviews. Vampire Survivors has also invaded consoles and is available on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass.

The expansion is available to view on Steam but information on its release date has not been revealed. Reports do state that it will be available on December 15, 2022, which puts it just over a week away with a price of $1.99 which is an absolute steal for a game that has taken up countless hours of playtime from gamers with its addicting retro-arcade feel and mayhem that is unleashed.

The game will introduce eight new characters including four of which have been previously revealed including Syuuto Moonspell, Menya Moonspell, Mian Moonspell, and Babi-Onna. With four more characters also making their way, they will join the thirteen new weapons being introduced to the game some of which will be the Silver Wind Staff, an enchanted kimono, Babi-Onna’s Mirage Robe, and the Four Seasons set of orbs.
