Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #2 teases the last stand of the fallen turtles and Splinter

The action packed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 that introduced us to the last standing turtle and the revelation that he had lost his brothers and Splinter was a breakout hit, going back for multiple reprints. One thing that I’m sure was on everyone’s mind, how did they die? Now, in the upcoming TMNT: The Last Ronin #2, this teaser released by IDW Publishing shows us that we may very well be getting our answer.

The Last Ronin, an idea that has been in the works for decades by TMNT creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird is finally coming to life. A world in the TMNT universe unlike anything we have ever seen before. Now, the creative team of Eastman, co-writer Tom Waltz, and artists Esau and Isaac Escorza along with Ben Bishop are putting their genius together to tell this story of epic proportions.

IDW’s description had this to say of the issue.

“Secrets are revealed as we begin to discover what happened in the past to lead to this nightmarish future,”

Be sure to pick up issue 2 of the 5 issue mini-series to get taken to the moment our beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fall as go more in depth as to the survivors guilt we saw Michelangelo experiencing in the first issue. We knew what happened and now we will find out the how it happened.
