Titans and Doom Patrol Ending with Season 4
DC‘s original series currently part of the HBO Max lineup Titans and Doom Patrol will end with season 4. Deadline is reporting that the two series will join the likes of Stargirl and The Flash who have all seen their end under the reign of David Zaslav since taking over as CEO in the Warner Bros merger.
Titans was created by Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman, and Greg Berlanti and followed the DC heroes Teen Titans which was a hit since its premiere giving fans a dark and mature take on the superhero team. We have already seen ourselves get through the first half of what is now the final season with Part 1 of season 4 ending in November 2022. The second part of season 4 and the series finale will arrive in April 2023. The final half of season 4 is set to give a proper ending to the series with Showrunner Greg Walker addressing the wrap-up of season 4, saying:
“I’m immensely proud of our gifted cast, crew, and writing staff and their efforts in bringing to life all forty-nine episodes over the last five plus years.”
Walker went on to commend Johns and Goldsman saying:
“I’m incredibly grateful for their unyielding trust throughout this process. Lastly, I have to thank our incredible fans for their continued support, engagement, and the passionate community they’ve built around our show. We have six episodes left to unleash upon the world that we hope will give our beloved characters the creative closure we all know they deserve.”
Titans star Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Joshua Orpin, Franka Potente, and Joseph Morgan.
It is a similar story to our hit DC series Doom Patrol as it will also wrap up with Part 2 of season 4. Now, the series’ final chapter has also been crafted to give the series a proper ending and send-off for our characters. Also a Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television production.
The series was a standout since premiering DC Universe and continued its success when it transitioned onto HBO Max. The series stars Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Joivan Wade, Michelle Gomez, Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan, and Matthew Zuk.
Showrunner Jeremy Carve said in his statement:
“To our wonderfully supportive partners at HBO Max, Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions, and DC Studios, thank you for indulging us these past four seasons.” Further adding, “Also, what were you smoking? To our brilliant cast, indomitable crew, fearless writing staff and, most of all, to our beautiful fans: thank you all the more. You made this a once-in-a-lifetime ride.”
Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 will follow our heroes and the repercussions of their actions after traveling to the future and with character arcs already having been wrapped up, we will see the conclusion and what we hope is a happy ending for our lovable heroes.
Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 does not currently have a release date.
