The Umbrella Academy Renewed For Final Season
Netflix has announced that the hit series The Umbrella Academy has been renewed for its fourth and final season. The series was created by Steve Blackman and adapts the comic book series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá has delivered three equally groundbreaking series at the streamer which follows a group of adopted siblings with superpowers that were raised to fight threats against humanity by their foster parent Sir Reginal Hargreeves (Colm Feore) and the ensuing damage of their upbringing and decisions.
The series has delved deeply into the repercussions of time travel with the group of siblings seemingly trying to correct changes or mistakes made by their traveling through time in a very Flashpoint-esque way. The latest season saw their actions in the past paint them as infamous criminals while returning to a present time that voided them from existence with their father having fostered an entirely different group of children with super abilities.
The series stars Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Elliot Page, and Ritu Arya. They were joined in season 3 by Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, Jake Epstein, and Justin H. Min.
