The Rock Returns To Friday Night Smackdown

The Rock Returns To Friday Night Smackdown

The WWE Universe experienced an electrifying surprise on this past Friday’s edition of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown. The night witnessed the return of legendary commentator and occasional wrestler Pat McAfee. As the crowd roared at his return and correspondent Michael Cole cheered at the return of his good friend and former co-commentator, it all was quickly interrupted by Austin Theory. McAfee, known for his charismatic promos, declared, “This is the people’s show, and you know what that means?” Little did the audience expect that these words would set up the intro music and triumphant return of The Rock, the People’s Champion.

As the crowd erupted in resounding chants of “Rocky,” The Rock made his long-awaited entrance. The arena pulsated with excitement as he stepped into the ring, basking in the adoration of The People. The electrifying atmosphere intensified when Theory confronted The Rock, seeking to make a name for himself by challenging the legend. However, before Theory could escalate the situation, The Rock swiftly shut down his advances.

It all led to Theory landing some blows before a spine buster and the People’s Elbow put Theory down and to add insult to injury, McAfee also nailed Theory with his own People’s Elbow.

With both John Cena and The Rock making appearances in recent SmackDown shows, fans speculate on the potential showdown between The Rock and Theory or a rematch between McAfee and Theory. The WWE Universe eagerly awaits to see what unfolds next as these iconic legends make celebrated returns to where their path to stardom started.
