THE MORNING SHOW Season 2

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for The Morning Show Season 2, and they’ve announced that it’s set to premiere on September 17th.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon both star in the series which is set in to the world of media, more specifically a morning news show amid a sexual misconduct scandal.

After her on-air partner of 15 years, Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell), is fired amidst a sexual misconduct scandal, Alex fights to retain her job as top news anchor while sparking a rivalry with Bradley Jackson, a haphazard field reporter whose series of impulsive decisions brings her into a new world of television journalism.

As the second season begins everyone is still reeling from the decisions to share that all on air. While the network cut the news feed as an immediate response, there is some big fallout as Alex leaves the show that made her a star. Bradley is angry with her because of this, and Mitch keeps himself in headlines by sharing his side of the story.

The trailer also reveals some new characters including Greta Lee as Stella Bak, a tech world wunderkind who joins the UBA executive team; Hasan Minhaj as Eric Nomani, a new member of the titular morning news team; and Julianna Margulies as Laura Peterson, a UBA news anchor who finds herself interviewing Alex.
