The Great British Bump Off #2: Things Begin to Heat Up in New Preview of British Baking Murder Mystery Comic [Exclusive]

Dark Horse Comics has shared an exclusive preview of The Great British Bump Off #2. The second issue in the comic book series that combines the allure of murder mysteries and the excitement of British baking competitions has already won countless fans over with the premiere issue that introduced our cast of competitors and our victim. Now, our protagonist Shauna Wickles is juggling the tension of staying in the competition all while channeling her inner Hercule Poirot to find answers about the grizzly murder. 

Dark Horse’s description of The Great British Bump Off #2 reads: 

“As Shauna Wickle continues to try to solve the mysterious poisoning amongst her fellow baking contestants, she decides to go full Poirot-mode just in time for the deadly technical baking challenge!”

The new series is as unique as one could hope to deliver and touches on two mediums that both keep us glued to our televisions, although feeding different appetites. Creators John Allison, Max Sarin, and Sammy Borras have captured an audience vying for the next elimination in this heated competition. Before some bakers move forward or are eliminated, we’ve seen one victim so far lose more than reputation, and the preview of issue 2 cranks the heat up in the competition tent. 

The Great British Bump Off #2 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on May 10, 2023.
