The Fall Guy Unleashes First High-Octane Action Trailer
Ryan Gosling is set to star in the upcoming action film The Fall Guy, directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce. This feature adaptation of the 80s television series follows stuntman Colt Seavers as he uses his skills to take down criminals in stunning action sequences.
“Colt Seavers is a stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health. He’s drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie, which is being directed by his ex, goes missing.”
In The Fall Guy, Gosling’s character, Seavers, starts the film unemployed and down on his luck until his ex-girlfriend, played by Emily Blunt, offers him a job opportunity to do stunts for an up-and-coming A-lister with a bad attitude, portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. When the egotistical star disappears, Seavers takes it upon himself to investigate, showcasing his dedication as a stuntman.
The cast is filled with A-list talent, including Emily Blunt, Stephanie Hsu, Hannah Waddingham, Winston Duke, and Teresa Palmer in roles yet to be revealed. Additionally, original series lead Lee Majors is expected to make an appearance in the film.
