That 70s Show Cast Returning for Spin-off That 90s Show
Netflix has announced the return of some of the series stars of That 70s Show are returning for the upcoming spin-off That 90s Show. It’s already been confirmed that Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman) and Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty Forman) would be returning for the series. Now fans will get to feel even more nostalgic when most of the original series stars return for the sequel series.
The returning cast members confirmed by the streamer are Topher Grace (Eric Forman), Mila Kunis(Jackie Burkhart), Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso), Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti), and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez) who will each make guest appearances in the sequel series. The one name not on the list is Danny Masterson who is standing trial for multiple cases of sexual assault.
The series description reads:
“Now it’s 1995, Leia Forman is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI, kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”
That 70s Show was a hit series that brought a carefree comedic approach to being a teenager in the 70s and the sequel series looks to bring the same spirit that captured fans previously. Just like the original series launched the careers of many of the stars, the sequel series is bringing in young talent including Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos.
There is currently no release date announced for the series. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
