Terrifier 3 Teaser Trailer Prepares Us for the Hell-idays
The Terrifier 3 teaser trailer has just been released, giving fans a glimpse into the horrifying world of Art the Clown’s next bloody massacre. This time, the killer clown finds himself in a new and chilling setting as he interrupts the joyous holiday season with his insatiable thirst for bloodshed. Even though Terrifier 2 was released just a year ago, Art the Clown is back with his senseless plans for violence, promising to deliver a sinister experience unlike anything seen before.
In the teaser, we see a young boy awakening in the dead of night, only to find the outside world blanketed in a serene layer of snow. Clutching his teddy bear, he listens intently to the mysterious noises emanating from the living room. As he ventures downstairs, anticipating a scene straight out of a holiday movie, he is confronted by a terrifying sight: Art the Clown, disguised as Santa Claus, brandishing an axe.
The original Terrifier, released in 2016, introduced viewers to the nightmarish clown and his reign of terror. Jenna Kanell and Samantha Scaffidi portrayed the siblings struggling to escape his clutches.
Under the direction and writing of Damien Leone, the franchise has continually pushed Art the Clown in unexpected and chilling directions, leaving audiences wondering who will survive the next encounter and whether Art will add more victims to his already extensive legacy of violence. David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera are set to reprise their roles for the third film. Thornton plays the iconic Art with LaVera portraying Terrifier 2’s Sienna who won audiences over as the leading final girl of the sequel.
Following the box office success of Terrifier 2 last year, the production of a third film was a logical next step for the franchise. After some delays, the studio has settled on a Halloween season release date next year. Art the Clown has traded in Santa’s sleigh for a new killing spree, and we all get a peek at the teaser revealed to fans who attended the Terrifier 2 re-release.
