Taylor Lautner and Rob Schneider Will Join Kevin James In Family Comedy Home Team

Schneider (Hot Chick, 50 First Dates) and Lautner (the Twilight Saga) are joining Kevin James in the upcoming family comedy titled Home Team. The film will be loosely based on the New Orlean’s Saints coach, Sean Payton, during his year-long suspension from the NFL.

The film follows Payton who, two years after a Super Bowl win when he is suspended, goes back to his hometown and finds himself reconnecting with his 12-year-old son by coaching his Pop Warner football team. Payton was suspended in 2012 for his role in the team’s Bountygate scandal where bounties were allegedly being paid to players who would try to injure players from the opposing team.

The movie sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun and full of laughs, especially if you’re a fan of James and Sandler and/or the NFL.
