New Suicide Squad Isekai Trailer Shows Off Monsters and Murder in Elseworlds Adventure
Warner Bros. has released a Suicide Squad Isekai trailer giving us an extended look at the upcoming anime series featuring DC‘s notorious criminals turned rag-tag team. The series shows off a deeper look at Harley Quinn, The Joker, and other DC characters that will be featured in the anime series.


The trailer’s description also gives us a 2024 release window as well as some of the talent that will be lending their voices to the characters when the series premieres. Anna Nagase will voice Harley Quinn, Reigo Yamaguchi will voice Deadshot, Jun Fukuyama will voice Clayface, Takehito Koyasu will voice Peacemaker, and Subaru Kimura will voice King Shark.

In the crime-ridden city of Gotham, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that’s connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI”!

Suicide Squad ISEKAI is a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Wit Studio, bringing together the worlds of anime and superheroes. Directed by Eri Osada from a screenplay by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara.

The character designs are brought to life by the talented Naoto Hosoda based on drafts by Akira Amano, and will undoubtedly capture the essence of each character in this extraordinary universe with Kenichiro Suehiro composing the music for the series. Additionally, Tomoyasu Hotei has contributed the opening theme song, titled “Another World.”
