Stranger Things 4 Release Dates Announced With Series Ending After Season 5
Netflix has announced the release dates for the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things and also has confirmed that they will be renewing the series for a fifth and final season. Season 4 will also see itself split into two parts as announced by the series creators, the DufferBrothers.
the DufferBrothers underlined the upcoming season’s challenges and the fourth chapter being the most challenging in the hit series involving our favorite group of interdimensional monster-fighting children. The upcoming chapter has amassed “nine scripts, over eight hundred pages, almost two years of filming,” and took longer to complete than any other chapter in the series. Part of that is the Duffer brothers working to bring everything full circle to bring the story to an end in season 5.
The upcoming season is set to have returning stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Maya Hawk, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, and Caleb McLaughlin. They will be joined by some new faces that include Jame Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, and Robert Englund.
Volume 1 of Stranger Things Season 4 will be released on Netflix on May 27. Volume 2 comes less than two months later, on July 1. Check out the Duffer Brothers full letter and newly released season 4 posters below:
