The game was confirmed in 2020 and saw itself halt development after the Russian invasion of Ukraine where the developer studio is based. With evacuations in place, many employees, unfortunately, had to flee their homes while others chose to stay and defend their homes and the capital of Ukraine. One of those designers sadly was killed in combat.
