Jackie Kong previously announced a collaboration with Metal Ninja Studios and out of that collaboration, the filmmaker behind Blood Diner was set to bring a haunting tale of a slumber party gone which will bring about evil spirits for our reading pleasure.

As Metal Ninja Studios sets itself to oversee Kong’s upcoming campaigns, the special edition of Spend The Night Volume 1 has launched and is working its way to being funded on Kickstarter.

Spend the Night will take readers into the suburbs of Louisiana:

As four high school girls embark on an innocent Halloween slumber party. All seems well until a shocking tragedy strikes – the meanest of mean girls is electrocuted in a backyard pool. Faced with suspicious circumstances and an irreparable loss, the girls stand at a crossroads. Desperate to bring their friend back to life, they contemplate a perilous decision: to summon the infamous One-Eyed Jenny.

Dare they strike a deal? Can they escape the clutches of the curse, or will they succumb to the relentless grip of One-Eyed Jenny?

Not only will Metal Ninja Studios be managing Kickstarter campaigns, but they will also play a crucial role in overseeing different aspects of Jackie Kong’s comic book projects. Jackie Kong celebrated for her innovative storytelling and unique narrative style, has joined forces with Metal Ninja Studios to elevate her ventures in the comic book medium.
