Shailene Woodley will star opposite Jack Whitehall in the upcoming comedy Robots
The upcoming comedy Robots has cast Shailene Woodley to co-star alongside Jack Whitehall. The script was written by Anthony Hines and Casper Christensen. The film is based on the sci-fi short story by Robert Sheckley.
Robots focuses on a womanizer, played by Whitehall, and a gold digger, played by Woodley, who learn humanity when they are forced to team up and pursue robot versions of themselves, who have fallen in love and run away together.
Hines made a comment about the casting:
“At a time when comedies are needed more than ever, I couldn’t be more delighted than to have Shailene and Jack team up to play the leads in this movie.”
We are looking forward to the sci-fi comedy and are excited to see what they come up with.
