More Twisted Games Await in the Saw X Trailer
The Saw franchise has captivated audiences since the inception of its insidious traps in 2004. In the upcoming installment, Saw X, fans will once again be taken on a journey with the notorious John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw. This time, the film takes us back in time, exploring the events that occurred between Saw and Saw II.
As the Saw X trailer reveals, Jigsaw’s battle with terminal cancer drives him to seek a cure. With a glimmer of hope, he embarks on a trip to Mexico in search of an experimental procedure that could change his fate. However, upon arrival, he discovers a sinister scheme targeting vulnerable individuals in desperate need of help.
Having chosen the wrong victim, Jigsaw is now driven by his twisted sense of justice, Jigsaw adapts his plans, unleashing a new round of horrifying and deadly games. As the story unfolds, viewers will witness the evolution of Jigsaw’s character and the intriguing connections between him and his apprentice, Amanda Young.
The film’s synopsis reads:
“It’s the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games. Set between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. The infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.”
Saw X promises to deliver the same suspenseful and thrilling experience that fans of the franchise have come to expect. Promising another gripping chapter in the twisted world of Jigsaw, the film looks more sinister than ever as the trailer teases some of the traps we will see unleashed onto its victims this time around. One which was teased in a poster that has us both interested and afraid to know more about.
The film stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Steven Brand, Synnove Macody Lund, Michael Beach, Renata Vaca, Joshua Okamoto, Paulette Hernandez, and Octavio Hinojosa. The film is helmed by Kevin Greutert from a script written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger.
