Satan’s Swarm Brings a Creepy Crawly Horror Story From Dark Horse Books
Satan’s Swarm is a new graphic novel by the legend of horror himself who created 30 Days of Night and Criminal Macabre. Niles brings us a new nightmare alongside another legend in horror Piotr Kowalski, whose work includes Where Monsters Lie and All Eight Eyes. They are joined by colorist Lovern Kindzierski and letterer Nate Piekos and it’s set to be released by Dark Horse Books.
The graphic novel follows a scientist, Dr. Philip Morgan, who invites a group of people to his remote coastal research facility for a mysterious study. When they get there, they find a zoo full of locals who have been killed, and some of the creatures have their eyes on them next.
Dark Horse‘s description of Satan’s Swarm reads:
Dr. Philip Morgan invites entomologists, young influencers, and a reporter, amongst others, to his secluded coastal research facility for a mysterious and bizarre study. What they find is a zoo of death, where local residents have been eaten to the bone, and the specimens they have come to understand have them on the menu next.
It won’t take much to sell you on a comic if you are a fan of horror or the bizarre. The cover itself paints a gruesome picture of the type of visual horror we are going to be experiencing and with the likes of Niles and Kowalski who both have crafted masterclass horror series, one which already featured monstrous eight-legged freaks, this graphic novel is very much in a place of The Island of Dr. Moreau with a twist.
Satan’s Swarm will be available everywhere books are sold on April 2, 2024, and at your favorite local comic shops on April 3, 2024.
