Rogue’s Gallery Series Adaptation in the Works with Don Cheadle Attached to Produce
Don Cheadle‘s self-founded production label This Radicle Act has optioned to adapt the comic book series Rogue’s Gallery into a series adaptation. The comic book series was created and written by Hannah Rose May at Image Comics. The comic series’ premiere issue was released this past July and has received positive feedback from fans. Cheadle will produce the series alongside Karyn Smith-Forge with May executive producing the series.
The comic book series follows TV superhero and actress Maisie Wade who falls victim to a group of intruders dead-set on terrorizing her while dressed as her archvillains. She then is targeted by the unhinged superfans who are determined to make her pay for stepping away from the famed TV series leading to its cancellation. Will she become a victim of these actions or become the Red Rogue once again?
Cheadle has made himself a household superhero name with his iconic portrayal of War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He now looks to expand into the world of superheroes once again with his reprisal of War Machine in Disney+‘s Armor Wars and now behind the scenes as he looks to bring the popular indie comic to life on the small screen.
Not much else is known about the Rogue’s Gallery TV series but stay tuned as more information becomes available.
