A couple of years ago, I met a new friend, Daniel Garcia, who was looking to come out with his very first comic book.  He talked for hours about his character, half rabbit, half cybernetic lifeform, looking to help those that can’t help themselves, and to help make his new home a more safe and protected place than his home.  This character finally came to his own comic due to a successful Kickstarter, and has now launched a whole new universe of characters!  This comic?  Xyber Ronin

If you are new to this great new character, here’s a summary:

Xyber Ronin is a homage in many ways to the grittier anthropomorphic tales of the 80s. Some of these inspirations include 80s Martial Arts comics and galactic adventures.  In the first story arc of this thrilling series, XYBER must learn to control his new abilities as he stops monster clones made of his DNA running rampant in the city.  The reader will also get a glimpse into the war-torn hero’s darkest thoughts as he battles with memories of his conquered home world.

XYBER now must learn to navigate through the streets of New York as the galaxies ultimate warrior with no master! So if you’re looking for something a little different, or are a fan of cybernetic rabbits with cybernetic powers and ninjas, this is the storyline for you!

If you are a fan of the old school, classic comics, and Saturday Morning cartoon-style comics from the late 80s and early to mid-90s, you should definitely check out this book!  As I mentioned earlier, this comic is a gateway into a brand-new world of incredible characters, so make sure to grab yourself a copy of this origin book!

And in order to stay up to date on all things Xyber Ronin, and to inquire about getting a copy of the book for yourself, check out the Xyber Comix Group page on Facebook!
