Players Trailer Features the Competitive Gaming Parody Series From American Vandal Creators
Paramount+ has released a trailer for the upcoming gaming parody series, Players. The documentary-style series will take place in the world of competitive gaming and is set to premiere in June.
The series comes from Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault who created the Netflix series American Vandal. The series will follow the world of League of Legends competitive gaming and a gaming crew that faces the decline of their careers and the threat of a new prodigy by the name of Organizm joining the team, whose ease of the game and spotlight focus, threatens the veterans on the team.
The series stars Misha Brooks as Creamcheese. Da’Jour Jones stars as Organizm, and Ely Henry stars as their coach, Kyle Braxton. Holly Chou, Stephen Schneider, Peter Thurnwald, Youngbin Chung, Moses Storm, Alexa Mansour, Noh “Arrow” Dong-Hyeon, Michael “Miko” Ahn, Luke Tennie, and Perrault also appear in the series.
Yacenda and Perrault will serve as executive producers on the series alongside Joe Farrell, Mike Farah, Tim McAuliffe, and Jim Ziegler, while Yacenda will also helm the series.
Players will premiere on Paramount+ on June 16th, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
