Plants vs. Zombies: Impfestation Looks to Expand the Popular Video Game’s Universe

Dark Horse Books is set to collaborate with PopCap Games and EA Games to expand the Plants vs. Zombies universe with a brand-new hardcover graphic novel titled Plants vs. Zombies: Impfestation. The new series is written by Paul Tobin, art by Cat Farris, colors by Heather Breckel, and letters by Steve Dutro. 

Dark Horse’s description of Impfestation reads: 

“The unthinkable happens when Chestbeard . . . asks for help! Pirates would rather walk the plank than ask for help, and they do not like walking the plank! With a seemingly endless infestation of zombie imps aboard his ship, Chestbeard sails to Neighborville Harbor and enlists Patrice, Nate, and Crazy Dave in clearing out the impfestation!”

The series further expands on the hit video game and brings fans a new all-ages adventure for fans to experience. 

Plants vs. Zombies: Impfestation will be available at your favorite local comic shops and digitally on June 14, 2023, and in bookstores on June 13, 2023.
