New God of War: Ragnarok Trailer Reveals Kratos Returns This November
PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio have released a new trailer for God of War: Ragnarok and given fans the news they have been asking for. The cinematic trailer revealed that Kratos and Atreus will return this November. The highly-anticipated sequel to the 2018 hit God of War has been slowly making its way to PlayStation consoles and now we know exactly when Ragnarok will strike.
Atreus is worried about Fimbulwinter leading into the prophesized Ragnarok, but he wants to explore the world and learn more about who he and Loki are – those who have finished 2018’s God of War will know what he’s talking about. Kratos warns him about his curiosity leading to a war with Asgard and the gods themselves, a situation he’s all too familiar with.
The new godly trailer isn’t very long but along with the release date, we get a look at what appears to be Fenrir, the son of Loki. Those familiar with Norse mythology might have an idea of the significance Fenrir plays in Ragnarok but we won’t spoil the fun. That’s if the studio follows the traditional story.
God of War: Ragnarok will release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation on November 9th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
